2. Supervised Driving & Logbook

🕒 Minimum Driving Hours (Learners Under 21)

You must complete:

  • 120 hours of supervised driving
  • Including at least 20 hours of night driving

EZ Drive Australia provides structured lessons aligned with Victorian road rules and certifies the hours you complete with us.

⚠️ Logbook Information (Important)

We strongly recommend using the myLearners digital logbook app as it reduces errors and is less likely to be rejected. If using paper:

  • Every entry must be signed
  • Signatures must match supervising driver details
  • Night driving must occur after sunset
  • Ensure you exceed the minimum hours to allow a safety buffer
🚫 Logbook Rejection Risk

VicRoads allows logbooks to be submitted before test day. We highly recommend doing this. If your logbook is rejected on test day:

  • You will not be allowed to sit the test
  • You may lose your VicRoads booking fee
  • You may need to rebook and wait again

3. Hazard Perception & Practical Test

⚠️ Hazard Perception Test (HPT)

  • Pass the Hazard Perception Test
  • Be at least 17 years and 11 months old

EZ Drive Australia provides hazard perception guidance to help you recognize hazards correctly.

🛣️ Practical Driving Test (P Licence)
